Shou Wu Plus is a well-known liver and kidney tonic. Users have reported that it is effective when treating urinary frequency problems, incontinence, involuntary bed-wetting, and constipation. It is also used to treat dizziness, blurred vision, premature grey hair, and general weakness due to what Chinese medicine practitioners call a "deficiency of the blood".

Ingredients: Shou Wu, Rehmannia, Bupleurum, Dioscorea

Area of Effect: Liver, Kidneys, Heart, Spleen

Directions: 1 tablespoon (about 15 mL) once daily before meal on empty stomach.

Shou Wu Plus is excellent liver and kidney tonic. It has been found to reduce urinary frequency and help enuresis (bed wetting) and incontinence. More information:

  • It helps treat constipation or difficult urination.
  • It strengthens the heart.
  • It promotes energy and general well-being, especially for older people whose liver and kidneys have weakened over the years.
  • It helps to restore hair colour.
  • It helps treat incontinence.

Notes:

  • This product is not recommended for long-term use by anyone with woman's or man's problems caused by elevated estrogen (such as uterine fibroid, ovarian cyst, endometriosis) or testosterone levels (such as prostate enlargement or cancer) because of its stimulating effects on the kidneys and adrenals.
  • You should avoid onions and radishes when taking Shou Wu Plus.
